Forrest Gump

Forrest Gump (1994), directed by Robert Zemeckis, is a heartfelt and emotionally rich film that follows the extraordinary life of an ordinary man. Tom Hanks delivers a remarkable performance as Forrest, a man with a low IQ but a pure heart.

Throughout the story, Forrest experiences important moments in American history without even trying; he just follows his path with a positive attitude. His relationship with Jenny, his childhood friend, adds a very human and sometimes sad touch to the movie. What stands out the most about Forrest Gump is its message: you don’t need to be “perfect” to achieve great things in life. The movie reminds us that kindness, persistence, and being yourself can take you farther than you ever expected.

It’s a beautiful, inspiring story and very easy to connect with. That’s why it’s still one of those movies worth watching more than once.
